MY RECENT PROJECTS

• Scottish Water – We are the leading advisor in Scotland for the valuation of wastewater treatment works. Since 1995, we have advised Scottish Water to minimise their rates liability. This covers work from the smallest septic tank to some of the largest wastewater treatment works in Scotland. We negotiate on behalf of Scottish Water to challenge the methodology of the valuations at each revaluation. Through our involvement we have saved our client in excess of £22 million in rates savings.
• Oil & Gas Sector – We are the leading advisor to the Oil and Gas Sector in Scotland. Since 1995, we cover most of the main onshore processing plants. We know the industry and advise our clients on means to minimise their rates liability, challenging the valuations at each revaluation and provision of budgets for new and planned projects. Through our involvement we have saved our clients in excess of £40 million in rates savings.
• Minerals – We act for the main operators in this sector. We provide advice on a number of different types of properties in the portfolios including quarries, processing plants and ancillary subjects. We challenge the approach to valuations at each revaluation. Through our involvement we have saved our clients in excess of £10 million in rates savings.
