I’m a Partner here in Gerald Eve’s Alternative Markets team based in Cardiff. I have over 30 years’ experience in the brewing, hospitality, petro-chemical and transport infrastructue sectors and provide valuation, lease consultancy and property tax advice to a variety national and locally based clients.

As well as my core day-to-day role I have also given expert evidence before Valuation Tribunals, The Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) and to Public Local Inquiries. In addition, I represented the British Beer and Pub Association, helping negotiate a valuation framework for public houses in England and Wales with the Valuation Office Agency during the 2017 Rating Revaluation.

I have provided expert advice and consultancy to AEW Global Real Estate, S A Brain,, Stonegate Pub Co, Greene King, Whitbread, AB Inbev, C & C Group, Charles Wells, Moto, Valero Energy and Bristol Airport.

 

MY RECENT PROJECTS

  • C&C Grop plc – I prepare regular valuations for C&C’s UK drinks manufacturing facilities for inclusion in their statutory accounts.
  • Charles Wells – I have carried out loan security valuations of 50 pubs owned by Charles Wells, valued in excess of £50m in connection with a refinancing arrangement with HSBC.
  • Moto – I completed a valuation of Moto’s network of motorway and trunk road service areas valued in excess of £1bn for the purpose of a bond issue and refinancing.
