I am experienced in the rating valuation of retail (particular specialism large retail stores), offices and industrial premises including food production plants and also additional specialist properties across the public and private sectors including Local Authority Schools, libraries, museums as well as Universities.

My key clients include Boots, Harvey Nichols, Debenhams, Saint Gobain and the Universities of Keele, Wolverhampton, Nottingham and Manchester.

I undertake the client management of the aforementioned national portfolios and oversee our teams to ensure the delivery of a “best in class” rates management service to clients.  My experience means that I am table to set-up and co-ordinate our activities in respect of instructions of all sizes as well as managing instructions for public sector and for private sector corporates.

MY RECENT PROJECTS

• Large Retail Stores – On the 2010 Rating List, Inegotiated the settlement of a large number of large retail stores occupiers to include Harvey Nichols (settled their flagship Knightsbridge, London store as well as their new one in the Mailbox Birmingham), Debenhams, Primark and Fenwick (including their flagship Bond Street, London store).
• Universities – Following the negotiation by GE of Universities Memorandums of Agreement with the VOA, I settled the 2010 Rating List assessment for the Universities of Manchester, Nottingham, Keele and Wolverhampton. I also provided budgeting advice on future schemes as well as implementing additional rate mitigation strategies.
• Builders Merchants – I am responsible for and undertake account management of the Saint Gobain contract for the entire “UK portfolio” in respect of their Jewson and Grahams brand. We have again been instrumental in agreeing the Memorandum of Agreement with the VOA in respect of the rating valuation of Builders Merchants.
