John Rodgers

Drawing on over 20 years’ experience in the sector, I specialise in real estate capital markets, delivering often complex engagements for a blend of high-quality clients. I specifically lead our industrial, offices and portfolio sector teams. Before joining the team at Gerald Eve, I was equity partner and head of UK National Investment at Deloitte (Drivers Jonas) and prior to this ran the Industrial Investment Portfolio at Land Securities plc (£750m GAV).

I act for a range of clients from private equity, institutional investors and REITs. I sit on the Advisory Group to The Harmsworth Pension Fund (Daily Mail) and am the Strategic Advisor for the M&G regional multi let JV with M7. I am also the retained Industrial Advisor for Goldman Sachs.

MY RECENT PROJECTS

• Alecta Portfolio – I advised on the acquisition of a £350m mixed portfolio comprising 26 properties on behalf of Goldman Sachs.
• Lighthouse & Beacon Portfolios – I am the strategic advisor to an aggregation strategy (including the £80m MStar portfolio) on behalf of IOG culminating in a £140m portfolio sale to Westbrook.
• Pearl Portfolio – I secured a £165m acquisition of a mixed sector portfolio for Standard Life Investments SLIPIT Fund incorporating a UK Stock Market equity raise.
