I carry out rent reviews and lease renewals for tenants and landlords on leisure property, particularly on pubs, restaurants, nightclubs and health & fitness clubs including preparation of Third Party submissions, capital valuations of large estates of restaurants, pubs, casinos, bingo halls and shops for financial reporting, and loan security valuations on individual pubs, night clubs and restaurants throughout the UK and Channel Islands.

My particular focus is on the late-night economy. For the last decade, I have been the key partner advising most of our major operators of night clubs and late bars. I also carry out work in the pub, restaurant and ten-pin bowling sectors.

MY RECENT PROJECTS

• I have provided valuation and due diligence advice – to leisure companies and investors on potential acquisition and disposal of portfolios of public houses, nightclubs, bars and leisure property across the UK. Recent examples include four public houses acquired LaSalle for £15 million, and 22 pubs from EI Group for £20 million.
• I have acted as an Expert Witness in disputes relating to the valuation of late-night licensed leisure property.
• I have provided valuation advice to clients occupying leisure property on compulsory purchase matters, including the Tattershall Castle floating pub on the River Thames.
