Liam Lawson Jones

A Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, I provide advice on planning matters with specific expertise in sustainability, energy planning, retrofitting, the Community Infrastructure Levy and planning obligations as well as development which interfaces with the Historic Environment and Listed Buildings. 

Recently completed projects include working with Beltane and Angelo Gordon to secure planning permission for the comprehensive refurbishment and extension of Millennium Bridge House, securing an additional c.60,000 sq ft of office and retail floorspace within a highly constrained site. The application secured the largest extent of new breaches into the St Paul’s Heights Grid since the policy was implemented in the 1930s.  

I am currently advising Camden’s Community Investment Programme Team on the Estate Regeneration of the West Kentish Town Estate to provide approximately 880 homes. The proposals will rehouse all of the existing residents on site while significantly improving the public realm, quality of accommodation and creating new public routes through and across the site.  

I act for several key public sector and private clients across Central London including the City of London Corporation, London Borough of Camden, Beltane Asset Management, Angelo Gordon, Topland, Urbanest, CO-RE, M&G Real Estate and The Hinduja Group among others.  

As the current Vice Chair of the City Property Association Next Gen Committee, I am heavily involved in connecting young professionals working, occupying, and advising on development proposals in the Square Mile. The committee helps promote debate on key topics, engages with industry stakeholders and encourages multi-disciplinary collaboration to guide the future of the ever-evolving City, ensuring it remains a vibrant world-class place for businesses, residents and visitors.  

In addition, I am also a founding member and co-chair of the Gerald Eve LGBTQ+ employee relation group EncouraGE.
