I specialise in rating and have particular experience of healthcare property occupied by the NHS as well as wide experience of commercial, industrial and institutional property.

Advice to my clients focuses on a range of rates mitigation strategies from empty rates relief to appeals and representations at Valuation Tribunals.

With the Check, Challenge, Appeal procedure implemented in the 2017 Revaluation, I advise and guide my clients through this complex process by registration and uploading property portfolios to challenging and negotiating the new rating assessments.

In respect of the National Valuation Committee negotiating the 2017 Revaluation memorandum of agreement for NHS hospitals with the Valuation Office, I provided research, analysis and advice to enable a successful revision in the basis of valuation.

I am an RICS assessor for the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

• Charitable Relief – Occupation of Medical School within the hospital of St George’s University Hospitals NHS Trust;
• Splits/Mergers – Separate assessments on hospital site occupied by St George’s University Hospitals NHS Trust;
• Budgeting – 2023 Rating List rates liability for all NHS Trusts;
