I’m a Partner here at Gerald Eve and head up our operational real estate team. I’m a member of our Executive Board, Strategy Board and Professional Standards Panel on matters of valuation.
I have expertise in advising on operational real estate and the opportunities arising, as well as having an extensive charity client base, principally religious, education or healthcare charities.
I specialise in valuation, strategic estates advice and transactions for education, healthcare and other institutional properties, both as operational entities and with vacant possession.
My healthcare, education and institutional clients include Ramsay Health Care, Care UK, Frontier Estates, Friends of the Elderly; Alpha Plus, Cognita Schools, Dukes Education; Barclays, NatWest, HSBC; LaSalle Investment Management, Knight Frank Investment Management, Alpha Real Capital; Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul, Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, The Disabilities Trust.
MY RECENT PROJECTS
- Independent schools – I advise on the valuation of Bonds issued by Alpha Plus Group, acquisitions by Dukes Education of trading schools and ground rent sales by Cognita Schools.
- HEI & FE Colleges – I advise on the valuation of numerous further education colleges and university campuses for loan security purposes, financial reporting and merger purposes and on-campus and third party PBSA schemes.
- Care homes – I advised on the valuation of operational homes for the likes of Friends of the Elderly and care home investments for Alpha Real Capital, KFIM and USS.
- Charities – strategic estates advice to a wide range of charities as well as mergers and disposals of properties and trading activities in accordance with The Charities Act 2011.
